Las Vegas Airport and Travel Tips

1. DO NOT use a debit card for check-in. It is not recommended that guests use a debit card upon check-in, even if guest plans to change method of payment at check -out. While (most) hotels WILL NOT charge the card at check-in, a hold will be placed on available debit funds and those fund will NOT be available until several days after check-out (based on your bank, not the hotel.)
2. DO NOT keep your room key in your wallet or next to your cellphone. Electronic keys are magnatized and by placing them next to credit cards and cellphones, they can very easily become de-magnetized, making them useless in opening a hotel room door.
3. DO list all family members or expected guests on your room registration. Due to security policies, most hotels will not let anyone in your room if their name is not registered to the room. If you or a family member is locked out of the room, only the person who is registered to the room will be allowed to grant you/ them access.
4. DO carry your ID whenever you leave the room. If you get locked out while getting ice or visiting the swimming pool, hotel associates will ask to see proper ID and will match it to the names registered to the room before making a new key.
